John is a lifetime resident of Greensburg, IN minus 5 years spent at Purdue University West Lafayette, IN. John first became interested in shooting sports at a young age, first firing his father’s old Marlin 22LR rifle on his 12th birthday…that was 1987. Now 47 years old, John continues to enjoy shooting sports and collecting firearms from World War II. Through the hobby of shooting and collecting, John found himself often talking to other shooting enthusiasts about his collection and sometimes teaching others how to safely shoot. This is what drew John to become a certified NRA instructor.
